LET’S BOP! Your regular chance to dance – for women to dance in our Suffolk chosen venues!

For those who have already become a regular part of the Let’s Bop! chance to dance movement in Stowmarket, you will know what it’s all about – but we always welcome newcomers and for those who don’t know – read on …

Let’s Bop! evenings are simply that – the chance for women to come out, and have a Bop again – getting back out on a dance floor, and having 90 minutes of great tracks so they can get on down, and enjoy moving and grooving to the music on a regular basis. This is NOT a class!  There are No complicated steps to learn, no bright studio lights, Lycra (probably!) and mirrors.  It’s just a sociable gathering of women who love to dance, and meet up with others who feel the same in a friendly and inclusive environment. At a Let’s Bop! event All women are welcome from 18 – 80. Jane, Marguerite, Ronni and the rest of the gang will be there to welcome you – and dance with you too of course.  You pay on the door as you come in. There’s no need to book – we know what it’s like when life gets busy.

Wear whatever’s comfortable for YOU to dance in – your choice entirely, jeans, trackies, sparkle and sequins – whatever YOU feel like – everything goes at our nights. You turn up, the bar is open – or you can bring some water. There are tables and chairs around the edge – and when you’re ready or hear THAT song you’ll want to  ‘join the party’ bopping with us. That’s it – no expectations. We have disco-style low lighting at The John Peel Centre nights, and a varied mix of music tracks just for you, which Jane creates.

Always a friendly atmosphere, we know ‘girls just wanna have fun’!  And whilst the music is LOUD enough for the dancing, it’s not so loud you can’t have a bit of chat too.  It’s a great way to relax unwind, and actively socialise with your ‘girlfriends’ and it’s simply some ‘me time’ – just for you – to come and let your hair down. It soon gets you reminiscing, and hearing the tracks it will take you back – remembering those good times and nights out on the dance floor!  So, come with a friend, or round up the ‘girls’ from work, or the mums in the playground, and have a bop – get your mojo back with Let’s Bop! Enjoy the nostalgia – it’s great for well-being, and it’s all over at 9 pm, so it needn’t be a late one. … Fun, fitness, and friendship for a fiver!
